Take Interstate 87 South to the end.
Turn left onto Route 20 East, Western Avenue, the Best Western Sovereign Hotel-Albany is 1 mile on the right.

From the South (Kingston, Newburg, New York City, New Jersey):

Take Interstate 87 North, New York State Thruway to Exit 24.
Bear right and follow Exit 1 South, Western Avenue to the end.
Turn left onto Route 20 East, Western Avenue, the Best Western Sovereign Hotel-Albany is 1 mile on the right.

From the West (Utica, Cooperstown, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo):

Take Interstate 90 East to Exit 24.
Bear right and follow Exit 1 South, Western Avenue to the end.
Turn left onto Route 20 East, Western Avenue, the Best Western Sovereign Hotel-Albany is 1 mile on the right.

From the East (Boston and Springfield and other points East):

Take Interstate 90 West, Massachusetts Turnpike, the Interstate 90 becomes New York State Thruway 87, take Exit 24 on Interstate 87 North
Bear right and follow Exit 1 South, Western Avenue, to the end.
Turn left onto Route 20 East, Western Avenue, the Best Western Sovereign Hotel-Albany is 1 mile on the right.

From Nearby Points East (East Greenbush, Rensselaer, and Castleton):

Take Interstate 90 West toward Buffalo, take Exit 2, Fuller Road/University of Albany and turn left on to Fuller Road, straight to the end.

Take I-87 south to the end, Western Avenue/Route 20, before it turns into the NYS Thruway.

Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) to exit 24.
After the tollbooth take exit 1-S (Western Avenue/Route 20).

Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) to exit 24.
After the tollbooth take exit 1-S (Western Ave./Route 20).

From Western Avenue
Take the exit for Western Ave./Route 20.
Take a left at the light (Route 20 east) and follow for approximately 2.7 miles to the corner of South Allen St.
There will be a sign that says to get in the right lane for Saint Rose, however, get in the left lane and bear left at the light down Western Ave. (which is no longer Rt. 20) instead and follow for another .3 mile (two traffic lights). Parking is available at either lot, left (P-6) or right (P-7) at the light, at 432 Western Ave.

To Stephen and Harriet Myers Residence, 194 Livingston Avenue, Albany NY 12210

From the North:
Take Route 9 South to Henry Johnson Blvd. Turn East (left) onto Livingston Avenue.
Drive 1½ blocks to 194 Livingston Avenue.

From the East and the West:
Exit I-90 at Arbor Hill/Henry Johnson Blvd/9 South.
At end of ramp, turn east (left) onto Livingston Avenue.
Drive 1½ blocks to 194 Livingston Avenue.

From the South:
At the intersection of Henry Johnson Blvd. and Livingston Avenue, turn east (left) onto Livingston Avenue.
Drive 1½ blocks to 194 Livingston Avenue.

To the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center, 25 Quackenbush Square, Albany NY 12207

From the East and West:
I-90 to I-787 South to Exit 4B (Clinton Avenue).
At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Broadway.
The Visitors Center is located to your immediate right.

From the North:
Northway (I-87) South to I-90 East to I-787 South to Exit 4B (Clinton Avenue).
At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Broadway.
The Visitors Center is located to your immediate right.

From the West:
NYS Thruway Exit 24: I-90 East to I-787 South to Exit 4B (Clinton Avenue).
At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Broadway.
The Visitors Center is located to your immediate right.

From the South:
NYS Thruway Exit 23: I-787 North to Exit 4 (downtown Albany).
Follow signs to Clinton Avenue. At the bottom of the Clinton Avenue exit ramp, turn right onto Broadway.
The Visitors Center is located to your immediate right.

Car Parking:
Pass Quackenbush Square/Visitors Center and make a right from Broadway onto Spencer Street.
At the end of Spencer Street, make a right turn and proceed to the parking area ahead.
Free parking is available as indicated by posted signs.
To enter the Visitors Center, follow the brick pedestrian walkway to the left of the Albany Pump Station (restaurant) to the gold and black sign for the Visitors Center (entrance on the right side of walkway).
